Food is vital to our existence. We need the nutrients in it to survive. It provides us with vitamins, minerals and other substances which can prevents us from getting ill, keep us energetic and even improve our appearance. The miracle of food is that it is a lot more than a source of calories. It can also have a very big impact on the way we feel. Our emotional state depends on the condition our organism is in to a large extent. Food is extremely powerful: the energy it provides us with can make us hard-working and successful or can cause us to lose motivation to achieve more in life. So what should we include in our menu to solve problems like stress and exhaustion? Take a look at the following list of twelve foods. Let’s not forget about almonds as well. They contain lots of zync which can maintain a balanced good mood, and iron as well, which decreases levels of exhaustion in your nervous system.
  • Green-leaf vegetables are also a great option if you want to become happier and more productive. It is no coincidence that your parents start annoying you with the constant desire for you to eat your vegetables since you are a child: they are extremely healthy! Cabbage, spinach and lettuce are rich in vitamin C and magnesium. Both of these substances are important in the transformation process of some amino acids into serotonin and dopamine which are responsible for the feeling of joy in your organism. A good dose of greens every day will definitely help you our when you are feeling low.
  • Wild fish is the next superfood on our list. Their meat is a concentrated source of omega 3 fatty acids which will be helpful when you are trying to smile more. The ideal eating regime includes three portions of wild fish on a weekly basis! Not to mention how good fish is for your hair and skin.
  • Blueberries have tons of benefits, but one of them is their ability to decrease anxiety in your organism. The large amounts of vitamins and antioxidants found in them can reduce stress. Why don’t you include them in your breakfast or snack on them during the day?
  • Bananas are another fruit that can decrease stress and increase happy feelings. They are rich in zinc, vitamin B6, tryptophan, iron, magnesium, etc. and are also natural probiotics, with high content of fiber and can regulate blood sugar. A banana a day will regulate your mood and help you be more productive.
