Homemade ice-cream Recipe

Are you a fan of strawberry ice-cream? It may not be summer yet but the taste of this ice-cream will make you remember the hot sunny days during which you need to cool down your body and mind. If you cannot find, however, your favorite strawberry in the nearby shop, then make it yourself. You can even treat your friends and show them what a great cook you are. Here is how to do it.

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 can (5 oz) evaporated milk
1 ½ cups whole milk
2 tablespoons sugar
1 container (16 oz) fresh strawberries but if you cannot find fresh once, you can use 1 package of frozen strawberries (16 oz)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ teaspoon salt

1. Mix the milk (all of it: condensed, evaporated and whole) with the sugar in a large bowl until the sugar melts. Cover it with a lid of foil paper and leave it in the fridge for half an hour to cool down. While you are waiting for it proceed with the other ingredients. Mix the rest of them in a blender and wait until these ingredients turn into a perfect mixture – puree. Now take the bowl of milk out of the fridge and mix it with the puree.

2. Pour the milk mixture into another container suitable for a freezer and freeze it according to the manufacturing instructions. Be careful to read them carefully because some may vary.

3. Place the container in the freezer and let it stay there for 15 minutes. Then get it out of the freezer and transfer the mixture to an airtight container. Freeze it until it is firm and put it again in the fridge for about hour – hour and a half.

4. Serve it in a special ice-cream glass bowls and add some cream and chocolate cigarellos and your homemade ice-cream will look as delicious as it is.
