Daring Colors For an Eye Makeup

Daring Colors For an Eye Makeup

During the summer you have more free time than you have during the rest of the year. And as you have a lot of free time, you should fulfil it with makeup practice in order to master your makeup skills. Down below you will find an idea for an interesting makeup design. Take a look:

  • Let’s start with the eyebrows. It is important to have good looking brows in order to create a good looking makeup, flattered by a good looking frame – the brows. If you are not a beginner in the makeup world, then you must know how to shape and fill in your brows. I won’t spend time on teaching you how to do it, because today I want to concentrate on something else.
  • This ‘something else’ is the bold, red makeup design. I know that the color is a little bit strange and not-s0-traditional for an eye makeup, but you should give it a try. For a special photo shoot or some kind of artistic event, it doesn’t matter, just find a reason and put this makeup on your eyes.
  •  The technique is quite simple. First,  you have to prepare the lids for the eyeshadows and the other products – apply primer to the lids. It will make the design last longer.
  • Then, cover whole lid, up to the crease, with the red eyeshadow. Cover the inner and the outer corners of the eye as well.
  • Then, wrap the eye with black color. Apply it on the bottom lid, apply it above the red color and create a smoky V shape at the outer corner of the lid.
  • Now comes the fun part – apply red shimmer on the lid. You can use one shade darker than the base red shadow. Apply it only on top of the red base.
  • Then line the eye with black color and create a cat-eye flick at the outer corner of the eye.
  • Finish the look with a coat of mascara.
  • Done!
